A day in the life of a tiny sidekick.

Just me and my TINY sidekick…….. oh oh oh…….. and of course, LUCY!

Golden Shower at Dolly Python.

I was honored to organize the “photo booth” and take pictures at Dolly Python’s expansion party this past Saturday.  Blake Wright was the FIRST/ONLY person that came to mind while pondering the backdrop.  Luckily, he was super excited to be a part of the project.  If you are familiar with his work, then you know and understand his humor… I thought this backdrop was brilliant.  A golden shower at its best!  If you have ever been to Dolly Python….. you too know that this was a perfectly appropriate piece of art to grace its walls!

The pictures turned out great and I can’t wait to share more of my favorites later this week….. there are 1,080 to comb through….

Some of my favorites…..

I’m COMPLETELY overwhelmed by the amount of love and good wishes that I received yesterday!  Here are a few things that made me smile A LOT.

This was outside my door at 8:00 in the morning! Thank you Ashley! I love you very much!

Flowers sent from my lovely family….. and also some sent from Kobe (sorry dude, I’m taken)!!! I LOVE FLOWERS!

Best cupcake in town (Society Bakery) and a rad Pinky Diablo painting from Gretchen and Brian (Dolly Python)

A trip to the Python.

I love visiting Dolly Python…… not only because it is the coolest vintage store in Dallas, but because I love Gretchen (the owner) so freakin much!  There is never a dull moment when she is around…… NEVER.

So… my dear friend Sara Rice has one of the coolest apartments EVER.  She has the largest collection of “Pinky Art” in the world. Pinky Diablo sells his art at Dolly Python… you might have seen his “skull spoons” in FD Luxe.  Here is a VERY small look at her extensive collection (not all of it is “Pinky Art”)!
